Freshmen

At the start of each academic year in the fall semester a welcome event for all new D-ITET students takes place. Before that, however, we expect to see all new students at our Prestudy Event. Both events help our students to quickly get their bearings prior to starting their studies at D-ITET. Freshmen have the opportunity to get to know their fellow students and gain valuable tips for a successful start from sophomores.

New students must register for courses via MyStudies (online portal for students) by the end of the second week of the semester.

Questions regarding topics such as mobility, counseling, the curriculum, regulations, student exchange etc., should be addressed to the D-ITET academic advisor.

Beside the event "How to successfully pass the first year" ETH also offers individual coaching on topics such as time management, study skills, low motivation, and coping with stress: Link to student portal.
